In Shakespeare’s ‘Othello’, **Ludovico** is the Venetian ambassador who cannot believe his eyes when he sees Othello’s public mistreatment of Desdemona. 4/5ths of Othello takes place in Cyprus. In ‘Oklahoma’, Curly sings ‘Surrey with the Fringe on Top’ telling **Laurey** about the fantastic vehicle they will ride in. Stokowski had appeared as the conductor in Disney’s ‘Fantasia’, and so, the Looney Tunes gang could not resist drawing Bugs with his ears folded back into Stokowski’s classic hairdo.
