Bonus hint: I am a fictional author. The book I wrote didn’t actually exist, but after the stories I appeared in were published, numerous versions of my work continue to be made to this day. ---

I am Abdul Alhazred, the Mad Arab credited with writing the Necronomicon in stories by H. P. Lovecraft.
