Not E. Wilhelm, not Edmund in Narnia, and dunno.

E.

1. fictional
2. female
3. first name begins with E
4. originally from TV or movies
5. created after 1980
6. originally from a movie
7. not particularly considered a beauty, but YMMV
8. American creator(s)
9. not the main character of her story
10. story is, all in all, unrealistic
11. created before 2000
12. actually appears, not an offscreen character or alias of other character or something like that
13. movie is something like _Airplane!_ or _Raiders of the Lost Ark_, kinda sorta, not usually thought of as sci-fi/fantasy but still has fantastical elements or exaggerated reality
14. last name unknown, although she almost certainly had one
15. Caucasian
16. did not appear in more than one movie, in canon, although there is actually a fan theory that she did
17. created after 1990

We now have more than 20 earned DQs, I believe, so no more IQs, please.

1. I don’t know who E. Wilhelm is, I was thinking of Ron Ely of Tarzan fame. Can you clue me in, or should I count this as a DQ?
2. Correct
3. Eloise Hawking (_Lost_); there is the question of whether she was pregnant with him at that particular moment in time.

#2 is correct. #1 is kidlit heroine Max Einstein (your answer doesn’t fit because my question used a feminine pronoun), and although #3 was an excellent guess the answer is Elastic Lad.

I’ve taken the liberty of editing this to make it clearer and remove redundancies.

It seems like the “fan theory” hint in #16 would be a massive hint which I would get if I knew who this was. That suggests that she was part of a _series_ of movies, even if she only appeared in one. And I am hard pressed to think of any movie series from the 90s that wasn’t originally based on some non-movie IP.

My last DQs:

1. Is the movie she appeared in animated?
2. Is the character an ordinary human with no superpowers or anything of the sort?

I keep thinking of Pixar movies and the multi-movie single-timeline Pixar theory, so let’s go for it.

DQ: from a Pixar movie?

Well, there are no humans at all in the _Cars_ movies. I can’t think of any notable (human) female characters in the _Toy Story_ oeuvre except the kid’s mom, but she appeared in all the movies. I wonder if it might be the old guy’s wife who dies in the first few minutes of _Up._ No idea what her name was, though. Those are the only 90s Pixar films I can think off the top of my head.

The only Pixar movies released before 2000 are _Toy Story_ (1995), _A Bug’s Life_ (1997), and _Toy Story 2_ in 1999 (_Cars_ and _Up_ are 2006 and 2009, respectively). There are no humans in _A Bug’s Life_, so that leaves us with the first two Toy Story movies. The only human female characters in those I can think of are Andy’s mom, Andy’s sister, and I think Sid’s sister? Though I can’t remember their names (and I don’t think Andy’s mom is ever named).

The old guy’s wife in _Up!_ is Ellie, but that’s too late a movie, as **DLR** stated above.

There was also the short, _Geri’s Game_, in the 1990’s, but Geri was the only character, IIRC.

I’ve got a couple ideas of characters from _Toy Story 2_, but I don’t remember their names.

At the end of the movie Stinkie Pete gets stashed in a young girl’s backpack, and is told by a Barbie doll that “You’ll love, (name), she’s an artist!”

And there is the little girl that was Jessie the cowgirl’s first owner, and subject of the song, _When She Loved Me_.

I don’t know of a “pyro kid” other than Sid Phillips, whose sister is Amy. But there is another human in _Toy Story_ franchise whose name escaped me (until now; I looked it up). I’ll recuse myself from further guesses.
