By my count, Knowed Out still has one outstanding DQ and Elendil’s Heir has 2 or 3, depending on whether or not I correctly guessed the last IQ.

DQ: Created in the UK?

Previous IQs:

Did you and an American author with the same name make an agreement as to how you would be referred to in your books? - Winston S. Churchill and Winston Churchill (the Brit and the American, respectively), agreed before World War I that the Brit would always use his middle initial to avoid confusion among their readers.
Were you described as someone who “looks at foreign policy through the wrong end of a municipal drainpipe”? - Said by Churchill of Neville Chamberlain, a former mayor.
Did a coworker tell your boss that, no matter what you were saying, you were actually an only child? - Pavel Chekov, as noted by Sulu in speaking to Kirk in ST:TOS “Day of the Dove” (Chekov, under the influence of an alien lifeform, believed that Klingons had killed his nonexistent brother Piotr).

DQ:

Is appearing now in an ongoing work of fiction?

All awarded DQs have been answered.

Everyone who earned a DQ this round can ask one “Are you ____?” question. I’ll keep it open until 3 pm PST (GMT -8) Thursday 11/19.

DQ: Are you Lara Croft, Tomb Raider?

Ooo, good guess.

YES!!!
I am British archeologist Lara Croft , who first appeared in the 1996 video game Tomb Raider, and later portrayed in a film series by Angelina Jolie (and someone else in a recent reboot). The last game was released in 2018, which actually was a prequel to the original game. The movie series is on hold due to COVID, but more games are on the way.

Well done, Prof!

Congratulations, Prof!!
