Title character of The Who’s 1969 rock opera/concept album Tommy.
Adapted into a Ken Russell film in 1975, and turned into a Broadway musical in 1992.
(The extremely tenuous connection to Soho comes from the lyrics of Pinball Wizard, where the Local Lad mentions he’s played pinball from “Soho down to Brighton”, although he does not specifically mention seeing Tommy play there.)
