Were you castigated for performing too good of an impression of PM Winston Churchill on the highly esteemed, rubber-capped, licorice-whipped, satin-bound 1950’s BBC radio series The Goon Show?
Did you play Prof. Pepperwinkle on The Adventures of Superman?
I am not Peter Sellers. (HA! I boned up on the cast and characters of The Goon Show before I started the round, just for questions like this! I am also not Private Bogg nor Professor Osric Pureheart.)
I am not Phil Tead. (Which I only know because I looked Professor Pepperwinkle up, when I was thinking about choosing you as the answer to this round. I gave up the idea because I wouldn’t be able to answer enough DQs about you or any other Doper to make it a fair game.)

3. Did you play the above character in the 1973 musical variety pilot The [character’s last name] Family Fun-House, nine years after another role?
#1 is Polychrome. #2 is Dr. Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man. Paul Rudd played Scott Lang. #3 is Popeye the Sailor, who met Alice the Goon in his comic strip.
I gotta confess to you guys that I had an “Oh, shit” moment last night. I had originally picked the producer and songwriter Phinneas O’Connell, otherwise known as Billie Eilish’s brother and collaborator. But I realized that he spells his name “Finneas”. I was only about four DQs in, so I scrambled to find someone else to fit the criteria. Rest assured that all the questions fit with the guy I eventually went with.
