You’ve certainly earned a DQ; I simply gambled that Mr. or Ms. Rumer was more likely to be right than Rumer Smith.

My movie was not made in the Seventies.

1. Male
2. Fictional
3. Last name begins with “R”
4. American
5. Best known as a movie character
6. Homo Sapiens from Earth
7. First appeared on movie screen before 1981
8. Appeared in but one movie
9. Movie was after 1950
10. Not an action hero
11. Movie was not made in the 1970’s

Neither Robert Kardashian, Will Rogers, nor Richard Burton. Rather, 'twas Winston Churchill’s dad Randolph, composer Randy Newman, and author Roald Dahl, once married to Patricia Neal.

Roddy mcDowell is absolutely right.

Mike Rutherford formed a songwriters collective with classmates Tony Banks and Peter Gabriel- this group eventually became the band Genesis.

And Reginald Pole was the last Archbishop of Canterbury who was loyal to the Roman Catholic Church.

DQ1: Did the person who played you win an Oscar for his performance?

DQ2: Were you still alive at the end of the movie?

It’s solved, but I’d guess Robert Stroud for the first, the second is Fred Rogers and I don’t know #3.

Retton’s not who I had in mind for the first, although she certainly qualifies. I’ll save my choice for a future round.

Rusty Staub was the outfielder who had been relegated to pinch-hitting duty before his emergency outfield appearance, which the third paragraph of [this page](http://www.metstoday.com/6134/spring-training-countdown/10-dupacr-rusty-staub/) describes.

Baseball’s “Beeg Mon” was Rico Carty.

Woo-hoo!! Ratso Rizzo just popped into my head when I came up with the Academy Award DQ.

Correct on Ray Davies.
The “killed by boss” rumor referred to Randy Rhodes, Ozzy Osbourne’s guitarist in the early 1980s. The urban legend, which was really more at the level of “stupid shit teenagers say to each other” rather than a full-blown urban legend, was that Ozzy used his occult powers to put a curse on Rhodes
when Rhodes said he was going to quit the band to go to college. Said curse caused the plane crash that killed Rhodes.

OK…Next round will be… **M**

Dunno if Stroud was considered gullible… but I was thinking of Radagast the Brown from LOTR. Correct as to the Rev. Fred Rogers. The third (the dimwitted younger brother of a man trying to atone for past misdeeds) was Randy Hickey, brother of Earl from _My Name is Earl._

Congrats to **ChockFull**!

Nice job on Manfred Mann.

1. Fictional lawyer Perry Mason was often at odds with Lieutenant Tragg of the LAPD.

2. In Super Bowl 3, Colts receiver Jimmy Orr was wide open in the end zone, waving his arms frantically… but quarterback Earl Morrall didn’t see him and threw an interception in the opposite direction. Rightly or wrongly, Colts fans are convinced to this day that, if Earl had just thrown to Orr, the entire game would have gone differently.

The actor who played Greg Brady, brother of Marcia, once dated Florence Henderson, who played their mom.

Martin Sheen in _The West Wing_ had that odd way of putting on his coat, swooping it upside-down over his head.

JFK did indeed say that about MLK’s dad after MLK Sr. said he ordinarily wouldn’t vote for a Catholic, but would after JFK made a call late in the 1960 campaign to get MLK released from jail.

No, I am not Magwich, Pip’s benefactor in Dicken’s _Great Expectations_. Thank you High School Freshman English

Merv Griffin and Magwich are 100% correct- impressive!

But the guy who played in 7 World Series in the Sixties was not Mickey Mantle’s but Mantle’s pal Roger Maris. Maris played in the World Series with the Yankees from 1960-64, and then with the St. Louis Cardinalls in 1967 and 1968.
