(If his first name is ever mentioned, I don’t remember it.) #2. is **Flannery O’Connor**. #3. is **Patrick O’Brien** , best known for the Aubery/Maturin series of sea-faring novels, but who also wrote a biography of Sir Joseph Banks, the naturalist who is clearly an inspiration for the character of Stephen Maturin.
