IQs: Did you legally, and simultaneously, run for election to two different Federal offices in a year before 1972? - This was Lady Bird’s husband Lyndon, who ran for reelection as a U.S. senator from Texas and as a candidate for Vice President in 1960, after state law was changed to let him do so. Did you legally, and simultaneously, run for election to two different Federal offices in a year after 1982? - This was Lloyd Bentsen, who did the same thing (and for the same two offices as LBJ!) in 1988.
