Correct on Roy Rogers and Randolph Scott.

1. I’m not Ray Bradbury.
2. I’m not Ringo. (I never ever ever ever liked that “song”.)
3. I’m not Robert Redford as The Great Waldo Pepper.

Take a DQ if I’m wrong.

Don’t recall any Martian chess-players in Bradbury, but then I haven’t read many of his books. I was thinking of the Jay Score stories (collected as _Men, Martians and Machines_) by Eric Frank Russell.
Correct on Ringo. (I don’t really care for that song either.)
I’ve heard of _Waldo Pepper_, but haven’t a clue what it’s about. I was thinking of Rodney Dangerfield in _Back to School_.
DQ: British in origin?
