The musicians’ union boss was James Petrillo. Cartoon lovers may recall that at the end of one Bugs Bunny cartoon, he had a huge gorilla collecting money while Bugs played the hurdy gurdy. Bugs’ last quip was “I hope Petrillo doesn’t hear about this.” My DQ: Are you female? ---
