Carl Orff, quite right. “O Fortuna” seems to be heard at sporting events more frequently than it is heard in the concert hall. #3 is **Oscar Peterson** , a towering figure on the Canadian jazz scene for decades. #2 - Well, I’ll let you decide whether I should get a DQ. It was a reference to **William of Ockham** , whose principle for deciding between two equally compelling arguments is known as ‘Occam’s Razor’. Technically, ‘William’ is his name, and Ockham his place of birth; however, when he is referred to, it tends to be as ‘Occam’ and not ‘William’.
