My enormous, bloated ego demands that I brag. Back in August, I took the Praxis test for [English Language, Literature, & Composition: Content Knowledge](http://www.ets.org/portal/site/ets/menuitem.c988ba0e5dd572bada20bc47c3921509/?vgnextoid=376baf5e44df4010VgnVCM10000022f95190RCRD&vgnextchannel=d378197a484f4010VgnVCM10000022f95190RCRD), so I could add an English grades 7-12 certificate to my teaching credentials. I got my scores back a couple days ago. Passing is 171 out of 200. I scored 197. ETS sent me a faux parchment certificate, suitable for framing, congratulating me on scoring in the top 15% of all people who have ever taken that Praxis test. Pretty good for somebody who hasn’t had an English class since 1983. Further, I finished the 2 hour exam in 45 minutes. I am an unstoppable test-taking juggernaut! ---

You had us, then blew it by fumbling the **ST** reference. Back to the salt mines with you! But congrats anyway. (I took the previous version of that test, when it was still called the NTE.)
