Look, it turns out [Dan](http://www.imdb.com/Name?Wells,+Dan+(IV)) is something of a reality show veteran. He was on one that got pre-empted by 9/11. And he actually has a couple of movie credits, including the horrifyingly ironically titled _Going Down_.

Dan is the long-term ex-boyfriend of a close friend of mine.
Dan is somewhat of a…character. When my friend called to tell me that Dan was doing this show…well, let me just say that I _howled_ with laughter. He’s actually a very friendly guy…but…there’s not a whole lot of depth there. In a weird, strange way, I do like him, but I can’t explain why. Does that make sense?
