How often do guys really think about sex? My boyfriend is always horny and so I figured it must be every like 2.3 seconds. How do you de-hornify a guy? Sometimes I try to gross him out by mentioning my period to get him out of the mood, but what if that doesnt work either??? Hmmm šŸ˜• :rolleyes: :o :smack: ---

We think about it a lot and there is no real way to de-hornify a guy, itā€™s just how some of us are and something we have to live with. Iā€™m guessing that you and your BF are in your teens. ---

When around a woman, yes we pretty much think about sex constantly. When not around a woman, we only think about sex every 2.3 seconds! Oh, and thereā€™s a lot you can still do when youā€™re on your period, so donā€™t think thatā€™s going to make him think about anything else. ---

My wife has found that really mind blowing sex delays my return to horniness for much longer than a simple quickie would. After truly great sex I can go for 2 or 3 days before I start to feel the need again. (Iā€™m not saying I donā€™t think about it, I just donā€™t NEED it like usual.) Whereas with a lesser form I am often fully horny again in an hour or so. YMMV ---

My ex, who was in his early forties, was QUITE horny. Granted, some of that may have been new-relationship-horny, but nonetheless, the man was NOT faking it! ---

As a 41-year-old, let me clarify. My sex drive is not ā€œlong gone.ā€ I still think about sex an order of magnitude more than my wife does, at least. However, I am able to complete thoughts of other things without them being interrupted by sex thoughts. This was not the case 20 years ago. Itā€™s actually somewhat liberating. ---

The only time that I donā€™t think about sex, and I do mean the only time, is the first 30 seconds after Iā€™ve just had sex. ---

Testosterone has something to do with it. (If you donā€™t know- thatā€™s the male sex hormone. Female to male transexuals and women who take testosterone report a higher sex drive. It may not be drastically higher, but it is somewhat higher.) Society also has to do with it. (Guys should go get it every chance they can like its the last time they might ever get it. Thatā€™s kind of what society says to guys. Some are more immune than others. Younger guys are more succeptable.) What can you do about it? Speaking as a high libido (sex drive) guy myselfā€¦ Nothing really. But make sure you discuss with him how it makes you feel. Use protection for heavens sake (to avoid pregnancy and STDs use a condom every time). And make sure when you do have sex, make sure you enjoy it. Donā€™t let him get away with not satisfying you. Show him how to do it. Random Other Ways I Can Think Of (Without Him Wanting to Break Up): 1. Sexually Harass himā€¦ sometimes works. 2. Keep him busy. 3. Make him get 4 jobs. 4. Start dressing and talking like his mother. 5. Start dressing and talking like his father. šŸ˜ƒ ---

Donā€™t try to blame horniness on testosterone. ---
