# Brackets on SDMB?

Does anybody have any skills or experience setting up brackets here?

I have done quite a few polls and am pretty sure I haven’t seen any good way to organize a bracket selection process other than by way of a sequence of Yes-No polls. If, for example, we wanted to determine the SDMB’s favorite TV badass or villain, how could we set it up so that working down (or up) to the ultimate favorite from a starting group of (let’s just say) 50 names (or 64 if that would work better) could be done with minimal hassle?

Some time ago, I was party to a series of polls trying to determine something similar about _The Wire_. That effort was criticized and booed. I don’t relish a repeat of that!

Any good ideas out there?
