Brain Farts are when you set out to do something and do something closely related but wrong or just totally forget just what you wanted to do in the first place. Sorta like sitting down on the toilet for a dump and just passing huge amounts of gas. ---

Didn’t win the awesome Packers tickets at the company party. I guess I’ll have to find another way to freeze my ass off. It’s winter in Wisconsin, so it’s not hard. Irk is irksome… too much to get done in not enough time. Plus, I constantly feel like I’m screwing shit up. I’m probably not screwing up as much as I think I am, but it feels that way. ---

Something must have crawled into my computer in my absence and wreaked havoc on CREO. This morning, Josh, Brent, Ryan, and Tim joined me in trying to figure out why they could all access a particular model, but my computer said it didn’t exist. It took clearing the cache, several program restarts, and a complete computer restart to make it work again. I said many bad words. ---

Home. Poke roast is rotissin’. Sides will be instant smashed N.O.T.s (Judge me not!) and carrots, and maybe something else - pineapple perhaps? The dogs want to eat NOW - they will be fed at 5, and they are not pleased with the delay. \*\*FCD \*\*is still fighting the crud, poor baby. It’s mostly a cold with aches. He said he slept 12 hours last night. Lucky him. ---

We use a vacuum at work to pull jet line into conduit, and as I asked my coworker to go grab it, I could not for the life of me call up the word “vacuum”, so I finally just said, “go get the sucking machine.” A good laugh at my expense was had. ---

Shrimp for dinner here. No shrimp salad though. I have had the grumpies all day and didn’t feel like cooking. However, letting the shrimp go bad was worse than cooking, so I baked the shrimp in a mix of olive oil, butter, garlic, and red wine vinegar. Red wine vinegar, because squeezzing a lemon was more work than I wanted to do. As far as I know the plans for tomorrow are still on. I have to get my list together, and I hope he will take a check or I’ll have to go to the bank. Which means I have to find my pin number, or go inside. ---

Evening all. The last of my Xmas gifts came today, so all I need to do is the wrapping and I am set. Nappage became sleepage and I was out for 2.5 hours, so probably have to stay up late tonight. Thinking about a combined New England-Denver-South Dakota summer vacation in June-July. Still have to work on the details, but it should be doable. **Juliet** , I’d bet you’re doing better tha 75% of your cow-orkers, so just do your best and don’t sweat it. The 2day Macaroni and Cheese has been consumed and chillage is on the agenda. ---

**Moooooom** , the town I lived in last had a spring rodeo with one of the sponsors being a manufacturer of mobility scooters meant for rough ground. They had scooter racers as part of the rodeo. **swampy** , that’s a cool picture. I’m with the others on backing it up. **flipper** , diabetes isn’t necessarily the most horrible condition to have. If you keep it controlled, many times, you’re healthier otherwise than you would be if you didn’t take care of yourself. I was diagnosed 12 years ago and have been insulin dependent for five. Today started suckishly (is too a word!). The printer that made irk life miserable yesterday was down again, meaning I could progress no further with the pile on my desk until it was fixed. Fortunately, RJY got there in time for me to salvage the day. I had a weird dream last night that I actually remembered. I dreamed that I was away from home and when I got ready to head home, I couldn’t find Nelson. I wound up taking another dog home with me (it looked suspicially like a younger version of SIL’s ancient chihuahua). Once I got home, I found Nelson under the quilt on my bed, waking up from a nap. I kept the other dog because they seemed to get along well. 😛 ---

**Red** your dream seems clear to me - you need another dog. 😛 Today I spent most of the day in bed, except for a few breaks when I got up with Akiko-pup, so she could run around and get her wiggles out. Today turned out to be heavy earth-moving equipment day across the street. I lay there in bed with a pillow over me and all I could hear was the incessant being of those machines. It would be lovely if those so-n-so’s would take the day off tomorrow. On other fronts, we are 1 week into an effort not to eat out even when I don’t feel well. I’m shocked by how much more we are spending on groceries, but it’s soooo much less than eating out 2 meals a day. I am managing to cook more often, which I enjoy, and we are eating together as a family. It’s not always easy to get this done, but I am pleased with the results so far. Happy Toesday everyone. ---

The electric blanket is on our bed now. It’s so nice crawling between warm sheets!. It almost didn’t happen, tho. The blanket was in the top of my closet, but I couldn’t find the controls. It took me half an hour to find them in a bag buried under assorted sweats on the same shelf. It shall be a toasty night!
