Worked, came home. Went to [London Bridge Pub](http://thelondonbridgepub.com/) to watch the canes game with the Hockey/soccer group. Not a bad place ,for an _English_ pub. **Sari** , my tree’s been up since November 1st. 2002. ---

Good soggy mornin’ Y’all! ‘Tis 61 Amurrkin out and rainy with a predicted high of 67 with periods of _ **heavy rain** _ predicted throughout the day. Don’t need to go anywhere so I shall stay put here in da cave. Methinks this will be a good day to binge on Netflix. Maybe I’ll finish up _Medici_ today. Lots of “accidental” deaths in that series. From the looks of it I’m guessin’ the series ends because everybody “accidentally” dies. Sup will be boxed lasagna (don’t judge!), sallit, and cheesey garlic bread. Also thinkin’ I might make some chawklit chip cookies. I took two sticks of butter out to soften, so I am committed to doin’ sump’n with 'em now I reckon. **BooFae** Ophelia and Shadow do seem to enjoy Welsh Gene. 😃 I put baby fake tree on the coffee table in the livin’ room yestiddy, so my decoratin’ is done. Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then, onward into the day! Happy Firday Y’all! ---

Happy Firday! Going to be a rainy few days but at least it’s not snow. Ripple woke me at 5:30 because he needed to go out. One good thing about my son staying up all night is that he can put him out and I can go back to bed. Going back to bed doesn’t mean going back to sleep, so I got back up and feel like hell. Nothing special on the agenda today. I have a few more packages coming withmy son’s gifts in them. He doesn’t want anything but I picked out a few Hanayama puzzles for him. I see they have started a series of chess pieces so I got him a few of those. He wants Nintendo? Switch, but then he says no, don’t get it because it is too expensive for just the one game he wants to play. ---

Yesterday, I was nose to the grindstone; my boss caught me on a shopping website looking for an address so I could do a return. She was behind me and said, “Oh, you’re shopping!” I said “No, I’m just looking for some info so I can do a return.” But I’m stressing out that she thinks I’m a slacker. So I focused on work yesterday so there wouldn’t be anything untoward on my screen if she snuck up on me again. I’m still stressing out about that interaction from yesterday, even today. Anyway, we’re going to get our Christmas tree tomorrow. Here’s to hoping we don’t lose **Romeo Jr.** in the tree lot. He’s a big fan of running off and hiding lately. There’s a reason we’re not going to a tree farm… that kid would go into the woods and come out all Mowgli on us, having been raised by a few kindly deer and some adorable raccoons. ---

Me and hubby had a Christmas conversation over dinner last night. He asked me what I want for Christmas. I told him I had already told him. He said tell me again. We had previously decided to get new ceiling fans so that is it. He also asked me if I still want a real Christmas tree. I told him no because then we’d have to buy a stand and all the decorations. So he said buy a fake one. I started looking on the jungle and a fake nice tree ain’t cheap. The ones I like are well over a hundred bucks and closer to two so I have made the decision not to have a tree. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. I am off today. I have laundry and we just piled the dishes in the sink last night so I have to clean the kitchen too. Tonight is steak night so a trip to the store is necessary. Louie needs a bath so that will happen in the next day or two. **Juliet** this is why I feel so lucky to have a private office. I shop all the time and do other stuff like pay my bills but I always irk through lunch so I don’t feel too bad. Maybe I will buy a tree after Christmas for next year. I am sure I can get a deal on after Christmas sales. ---

Morning all. I was up early but got bogged down in youth soccer stuff and then needed to fix the things I had messed up and…it’s 10:30am already. Need to make myself presentable and get to the bank and then find a new stopwatch for soccer tomorrow. Raining since the early morning and doesn’t look to be stopping anytime soon. **Juliet** , imagine the boss went back to check your site and see if (she?) wanted to order anything from it. If that’s the first time it’s happened, it’s probably forgotten about already. (unless you have one of **rubles** bosses… BLT’s on Rye have been consumed so no excuse not to be about things. ---

Back inside away from the rainy weather. Banking done, stopwatch procured, and clothes picked up from the Dry Cleaners. Rain is moving out of the neighborhood (but looks like **swampy** is getting wet) but more is expected tonight and tomorrow. ---

Home at last. And tahred… The rain started as I drove home, and it’s supposed to continue thru the weekend. Needless to say, thanks to the snow and the cold and now the rain, our gutters haven’t gotten cleaned. Not that it’s a huge deal yet, but I’m hoping it’ll get done before we get bad snow. Stoopit leaves. Salmon for supper, with sides to be determined. Much chillage shall ensue. ---

My sister is bound and determined to drag me kicking and screaming into the 21st century. Today she took me to a T-Mobile store to buy me a combined Christmas and birthday(12/31) present. I now have a cellphone. Up until now I was one of the Luddites who only had a landline. Well, I DO have a computer, obviously, and my home phone, as of 2016, is a touchtone. Now I just have to not lose the cell, which is the main reason I didn’t get one before.
