Yeah. Similarly, I was kinda baffled by the thread in CS about how to make “queso,” which is simply Spanish for cheese. Never heard of “queso” as a specific dish before.
Weirdest of all is calling goat cheese “chevre,” which means “goat.” I’m eating the cheese, not the goat!
