> Tape for ducts is often just a PVC tape that has some stretch to allow it to conform to odd shapes. For cheap flexible ducts this is probably the better choice.
>
> However one also sees aluminium foil cloth backed tape used for ductwork. That would count as Duck tape.
>
> So this is a real case of _it depends_.

There are UL standards for HVAC tape. I would expect to see the proper tape used in commercial and industrial work. For residential work, I suspect anything goes with less professional installers, but the right tape should be used.

> In some HVAC applications, UL listings are critical for code compliance. This means the HVAC tape used has the proper adhesion and exceptional shear strength

> Datsun was a brand used by Nissan for exports to certain markets. The US was the main one but that brand was discontinued in 1986. (We had a car bought around that time that had both labels on it.)

I had a 1983 Datsun Nissan Sentra Diesel. Yep, it had all that spelled out in badges on the trunk lid. This was in the U.S.

Anybody remember that Great Adventure originally had a drive-through safari park in addition to the amusement park?

Not a commercial brand, but one of my previous employers was ON Semiconductor. Everyone in the industry called them “ON Semi”. We were told repeatedly that we were to one use the full name “ON Semiconductor”, especially in external communication. Never the nickname. A year or two after I left the company gave in and changed its name to “onsemi”.

They still do - it’s not a separate park anymore , and there was a time when guests were driven through in safari vehicles, but in 2020, it went back to driving your own vehicle through.

The shop name is Eason. That is the name over the door. Harrods has Harrods over the door.

Pepsi Corporation has offered a lemon lime soda to compete with 7-UP under the following names:

**Teem** then **Slice** then **Sierra Mist** now **Starry**

I never had Teem but the last three I don’t remember really tasting THAT much diffferent.

Back in my soda driking days I was a Sprite man. Had to have only that for the most part. Slice was horrible, nothing like Sprite. Sierra Mist was close and would do in an emergency. Never tried Teem or Starry.
