There will be a memorial showing of Guys and Dolls and On the Waterfront at my house tonight, starting at 8 p.m., for anyone interested.
But Dad left you the lightsaber.
Yes. When I first heard of this, I wondered if it was a suicide. The explanation for his death hasn’t been released yet, although it probably was due to old age.
The guy got his anus buttered on camera, what more could you want out of a film career?
Yup, and I’ll bet Larry King will have the night off since CNN will undoubtedly rerun his interview with Brando.
…the one where he complained about the Jewish studio heads?
What I meant is that there were much better roles he could have taken in the 60’s in particular, and his personal life and weight problems were things that all too often made him a punchline. But the body of work will live on and on, of course.
I think you got that just a little wrong. I believe he was the butterer, Maria Schneider was the butteree.
You know, I keep re-reading that line, and can’t quite determine if it’s supposed to be innuendo or not.
. . .the one where he tried to balance the cookie in the branches of the desert shrub?
I was thinking suicide as well. But, the man was 80 and not in good shape.
The Los Angeles County Coroner expressed befuddlement when Sasheen Littlefeather’s body was brought in for the autopsy . . .
Perhaps. I’m not sure how many interviews King did with him, but we can always hope.
I gotta go re-rent that movie.
You know, it wasn’t supposed to be, that angle hadn’t even occurred to me when I typed it … but I think I like it better your way.
LMAO!
Seriously, what happened to the guy? Do you folks really think it was a suicide? I’m guessing that a man of his girth is lucky to live to 80.
The first recorded case of suicide by cheeseburger…
Thank you Eve for that laugh . . . and Google
Works for me. Though sometimes, I think I can read innuendo into anything.
You know, as great an actor as he was, and believe me, I do admire his work, I still wish he’d have died before ruining his childrens’ lives. True artist in the field, lousy person.
First one who suggests his epitaph should be “God made him an offer he couldn’t refuse” sleeps with the fishes.
