It’s probably more a matter of how dominant Marlon was over such a period, but there were any number of actors (from all levels of competence) who seemed (to me, at least) to have been selected based on some physical resemblance to Brando. Here are a few examples. See if you can name others (with a photo if possible): [Don Stroud](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0835144/?ref_=nv_sr_1) [Mark Ruffalo](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0749263/?ref_=nv_sr_1) [Burt Reynolds](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000608/?ref_=nv_sr_1) Recent pictures (especially Reynolds) don’t hold up as well as ones from 30-40 years ago! Even so, who can you think of who is closest physically (face anyway) to Brando? (There are several websites devoted to this very issue if you need some help with your memory.) ---

It’s probably more a resemblance to Joe Don Baker (who I was really thinking about when I started the thread), but [Klaus Maria Brandauer](http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001970/)is close enough to include in a list, I think. ---

There were quite a few Brando lookalikes in 50s Hollywood, and studios tried to make their young male stars look like him.
