Looking at the [goals again](http://screamer.deadspin.com/germany-take-1-0-lead-over-germany-with-corner-kick-goa-1601939081/+GregHoward1) it’s like watching a training run where the coach has told the defenders to just hang back and let the attackers work on their interplay in the box. And it was a smart move by Germany to borrow [Canterbury’s jerseys](http://www.radiosport.co.nz/news/sprug/171493192-rugby--scott-robertson-jumped-at-chance-to-face-ab-s)for the match. ---

I just don’t know what Brazil are thinking! In the league you’ll sometimes see teams collapse because at the end of the day even the most rigourous thrashing can be cancelled by a run of good results, but in the World Cup semi-final! ---
