Exactly. The third place game is on Saturday, against either Netherlands or Argentina. I hope it is Netherlands, mostly because I want Netherlands out of the championship game. ---

It may not be a very charitable feeling, but I am now feeling just a bit better about the 5-1 drubbing we got at the hands of the Dutch… We are no longer the holders of the most humongous defeat in this WC! And Brazil scores the consolation goal – 1-7 ---

It’s just that in the Portugal games, the guy here in Russia always said “Cristiano Ronaldo!” when he did anything. Also, Hulk plays for the Zenit in Russia, and I’ve lost a lot of respect for him. And how he begged out of the second half of this game after pretty much no-showing for the WC. ---

I don’t think anything can be inferred about the German team from this match(at least what I saw of it). The Brazilian defence didn’t turn up. ---
