Boo. Extra time. After watching the last penalty shootout with the Dutch, I would think Argentina need to get this done in extra time. Romero is no world beater. ---

These defenses haven’t made a wrong step today and basically shut down two of the greatest players in the world - Messi and Robben. Great performances by both of these sides - I think Germany also would have problems getting goals against either. ---

I think Sabella had made some awful subs. Agüero has been ineffective and Maxi Rodriguez? What, was Ariel Ortega not available? Wrong time to bring on an aging player who didn’t have a good first game. ---
