Absolutely unbelievable. I mean its one thing to not get out of the group stage (though that’s shocking enough), but to lose in such fashion. Heck, unless they show some spark in the 2nd half, I can see Australia having a decent chance against Spain! ---

Too late to edit: a term that was used by German commentators after Spain’s thrashing by the Dutch was “Götterdämmerung”. Seems appropiate. ---
