The commentators are acting all mystified that Ghana are leading when Germany dismissed Portugal. The answer is simple, dimwits, get past your prejudice: Ghana are better than Portugal. ---

This is an incredibly exciting game. Lots of end-to-end stuff, plenty of chances. So different from the Argentina/Iran game earlier today. And just as i type, another great chance for Germany. ---

Wow, that was quite a game, and probably a fair result, although i would love to have seen Ghana get the win. The United States can probably count themselves lucky that this Ghana team didn’t turn up to the first game. ---

Awesome second half. Klose now joint all-time top scorer in World Cup tournaments. Mind you, I also thought Argentina - Iran was a very good game in its own way. ---
