Bagels Biscuits Croissants Cinnamon rolls Danish Crullers Yeast rolls French Toast Egg Toast (like French but unsweetened) Dry Toast Buttered Toast (broiled that way) Cornbread Muffins Pop Tarts Toaster Strudel Pancakes Waffles Sourdough bread What am I leaving out? ---

Did you miss breakfast this morning or something? Hard rolls (Weck) and Pretzel bread are the two main ones I get for breakfast here. Sometimes they put out cakes. ---

The ‘german apple pancake’ thing with fried apples and an eggy batter cooked in the oven. Popovers Banana bread french toast Beignets and all the other ethnic variations of doughnuts (are churros eaten for breakfast?) Hot Cross Buns (and if you want to divide cinnamon swirls from sticky pecan rolls that’s another) Do packaged dry cereal, granola, and meuseli count as ‘bread’? You could I suppose divide waffles into quick waffles and yeasted waffles, since they’re very different. And pancakes into quick, yeasted and sourdough. And finally, the two ultimate breakfast breads: cold pizza and pie Mmm… pie… ---
