# Breaking a $20 (USD) note for a purchase less than $10.  How'd you get your change?

Another Canadian here, so I didn’t vote. Its always $10s however that I get back for change.

It seems like I get back a $10 the majority of the time, but it’s not uncommon to get two $5s.
