That, and the Cuban President (actually 2 seperate offices, President of the Council of State & President of the Council of Ministers, held by the same man) is elected by the National Assembly, not directly.

His succesor plans to preserve his corpse and put it on public disiplay like Lenin, Mao, Ho, etc.

Seriously, what is it with socialist/communist types and their tendancy to deify their leaders? I imagine psychologists could write a very interesting paper about this.
