Spanish magazine and a [Dutch magazine](http://www.jpost.com/Breaking-News/After-shooting-Danish-paper-to-print-Charlie-Hebdo-cartoons-on-Islam-387049) will reprint all Charlie Hebdo Islam-related cartoons. It is sad when Spaniards and Dutch show up US media’s cowardice. ---

What kind of punk-ass god can’t stand up to a freakin’ human-drawn cartoon? Seriously, this is how I know that religious adherents really don’t believe in their gods. If a god wer truly angered or upset, wouldn’t that god be able to handle matters on its own? Why do people have to step up to defend or retaliate? Why? Oh because god isn’t retaliating… hmm maybe because he doesn’t exist? I’m in the camp that says let them print every fucking offensive thing. Seriously, it’s a fucking cartoon. If your religion can’t stand up to a fucking cartoon, or gets offended by what amounts to scratches on piece of paper compared to your divine and holy creator of, oh, EVERYTHING in the universe and who is all freaking powerful, then, holy shit, what CAN your god do? And if moderates get upset, so what? Again, if their god wanted to do anything about it, why doesn’t he do it on his own? I can’t believe we live in a world where superstition gets this kind of power still. Ridiculous. ---

I’d distinguish between a religion on paper and a religion in practice. The Christian Bible can be pretty bloodthirsty at times, and the Crusades put that into practice. But while today’s Christianity may have sects and branches with rather intolerant speech, there are very few Christian groups who use violence and outright murder as a form of intimidation ---

It’s easy to say “THEY should reprint to cartoons”. I encourage people recommeding such action to put their money where their mouths are and publish them in their Facebook/twitter/blog with their full real name and work/home address, if they want to show us how to make a stand. It’s only the bravest (or stupidest or most reckless) that purposely offend those who may kill them. ---

You seem to think, for what limited value the word “thinking” has in your brain cell, that two American patrol officers would have charged right in and made everything all right in Paris today. The two police killed today include the bodyguard for the magazine’s editor, who was probably armed, for all the good it did him, and a bicycle patrol officer, probably unarmed. I find it despicable that you feel the deaths of these two fine men, and the deaths of the ten others who were murdered, is worth only your pushing a partisan political point. You can simply resume eating shit, as far as I’m concerned. ---
