the males descending from the queen and prince philip and use and pass on the mountbatten-windsor last name when needed. (harry and meghan’s children have the last name of mountbatten-windsor.) the males descending from george the 5th use windsor when a last name is needed. the official name of the royal family is “the house of windsor”. ---

A most gracious lady who remained faithful to her duty. I think the two greatest monarchs are each named Elizabeth. Just curious, how long will it take to alter those Beefeater uniforms that currently show E II R and make them say C III R? It’s got to be real tough for people to start singing God Save the King, most have never sung those words. I bet a ton of people are going to sing God Save the Qu- I mean King. ---

It looks like William is now Duke of Cornwall and Cambridge, but not Prince of Wales as that title isn’t automatically passed on. ---
