I see both sides of this discussion very clearly. I take pride in the many jobs I have struggled over and then completed (the latest is detailed [here](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/electrical-wiring-help-please-gfci-wiring-related/982749)).

That said, it’s been decades since I’ve change my own oil.
