breastcup sizes

Well, I don’t know about Europe, but in Australia the “number” measurement is related to dress size. Most bras come in 10A - 16DD.

Here’s the target website, which is quite informative.

Hey look over there!

[Chest bumps AwStappity while she’s distracted].

You couldn’t possibly think I’d pass up that opportunity, do you?

Owie! Now I’m going to have to go rub them…

Watch women’s college basketball. They do it all the time.

i beg to differ, on account of that’s what an ex of mine wielded, and she was certainly not.

bamf

That’s also the size Jennifer Anniston has said she is. No problem there.

Man, I’ve been waiting and waiting for an opportunity to post this somewhere…

I find it hilarious when reading… er… erotica that is obviously written by an ignorant man.

"She was a gorgeous blonde, five-ten, 116 pounds, 40C… "

Once before, when this question came up, I decided to do a little research. I plugged my measurements into four or five different internet calculators. One told me I was a 40A, one told me I was a 34D, the others were all in between and all different. Moral of the story? There is no Straight Dope regarding bra sizes.

Again I say it…This thread needs pictures!

Iceland_Blue: Kaitlyn and I have both posted pics in the recent Doper photo thread. Get on over there and use your imagination.

Pictures? This thread needs a webcam!!!

Well, you know the saying: more than a handful is wasted.

Although that should be two handfuls.

Well, I suppose that could work, if the afore-mentioned character never did anything but lie down. But I have a hard time imagining how she could possibly keep her balance while standing, with only 116 pounds for the whole body and such a disproportionate amount in her upper torso. Unless she’s on the Moon or something.

Psst, Chronos: You get that what doesn’t work is the band size, right?

Allow me? -whimper-

Start running.

This is breaking the taboos here people!!!

Men…understand bras… :dubious:
At school we had one and only one boy who knew the secret of bras. He was a God to us…Kevin, the God of Breast Size!

What’s next? The indecypherable code that is the street parking sign?

It’s madness I tell you…Madness!

Stop the insanity!

I tell you, there is an easier way!

Measure ABOVE the breasts, under the arms. That number is the correct band size. No adding or other complicated stuff.

Now measure around the fullest part of the breasts.

Subtract, and voila!

Example- my band size is a 36, and around my chest is 40. 40-36=4.
We know that 2"=B, 3"=C, and 4"=D. Thus I am a 36D.

Here is a site with photos, illustrating the whole thing.

Bra sizing in many European countries follows the French system, which is a lot easier than the US/UK one.

Measure over the nipples, get a number in cm.
Measure below your breasts, get another number in cm.

Your size is given by giving both numbers. So I’m a 95/75.

Has anyone noticed that batteries are measured the same as cup sizes?
