I think the way I feel about the OP may be similar to the way my friends Reb and Kiri felt about my ability to watch Pink Floyd’s The Wall while sober and enjoy it. I would like to thank **adhay** for that revelation. Now if y’all will excuse me, I think I’ll go see if I can find an online copy of Alice in Wonderland which the filter at work doesn’t recognize as entertainment: I need to borrow the caterpillar’s hookah.

I thought that some of the metaphysical imagery was particularly effective. Oh…. and um, interesting rhythmic devices, too, which seemed to counterpoint the, er… Counterpoint the surrealism of the underlying metaphor of the, um… Vogonity. Sorry. Of the poet’s compassionate soul which contrived through the medium of the verse structure to sublimate this, transcend that and come to terms with the fundamental dichotomies of the other. And one is left with a profound and vivid insight into… err… Into whatever it was … …that the post was about!
