Okay, let’s try a serious response. I was just looking at Ratner’s credits and I discovered he actually has a history of making documentaries, although in the past he’s produced rather than directed them. This will be his twelfth documentary (or tenth if you don’t count executive producer credits). So this isn’t as out of left field as it appears. ---

With the budget available, maybe they can make it a 10-part Ken Burns type documentary. The part where she’s approached by Russian intelligence operatives can be shot like a Jason Bourne movie. ---

This at least has more merit than the upcoming George Floyd biopic “Daddy Changed The World” which as we’ve already seen is getting less and less true as the years go by. ---

100% complete disagreement here. There’s literally zero merit to this. It’s just a bribe. BLM is/was a movement that was culturally relevant and the backlash is the dominant political movement in the US at the moment. I think a biopic of Floyd vs a documentary of the movement is a terrible decision. Compared to “gold digger marries fascist and we need a way to launder our tribute so the fuhrer doesn’t cancel our government contracts” there’s no contest.
