Just learned this reading _Time_. That’ll teach me to read _Time_. In further news, Fannie Flagg and Richard Dawson have gone into hiding. So if they produced a _MatchGame 21st Century_, what celebrities now would be most likely to take their seats? I can see perhaps Olivia Newton John, John Goodman, Molly Ringwald, and of course Fannie Flagg, with the Charles Nelson Reilly Chair in Applied Gayness being occupied by David Hyde Pierce (except he’s probably a millionaire many times over from _Frasier_- that’s actually the problem, character actors and second bananas now make so much they wouldn’t be interested- even Nathan Lane pulls down 7 figures on Broadway). ---

Last night, this thread got me to check on JM J in Wikipedia, because I thought he might have passed away. Glad to see he’s still alive & active. I didn’t see any comments from him when Tammy Faye passed away. Re this being the year of Match Game deaths (and TV preacher ones also), If I were Orson Bean, I’d be very cautious. ---
