Back in the day I used to buy a lot of concert DVDs. I rarely listen to them anymore but tonight, to celebrate a lengthy holiday from work I popped in [This Christmas Album](https://www.discogs.com/The-Brian-Setzer-Orchestra-Christmas-Extravaganza-Live/release/7352474) from 2005. Put this Scroogey, Grinchy, sourpuss right into the mood.

Sadly Brian had to cancel his Christmas tour this year because he has severe tinnitus.

I have a few of BSO’s Christmas albums. Definitely recommended listening. No other recording of _Jingle Bells_ can touch theirs with a 20-foot stick. And their _Gettin’ in the Mood (For Christmas)_ does exactly that.
