The higher-ups have changed the [article](http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/2281/how-do-you-become-a-dual-citizen) to reflect the concerns raised in this thread, and given me a special thanks. Well, my username, at least, which will make for some interesting interview fodder when I cite to the article at the top of my résumé in big bold underlined font.

I’m still waiting for them to change my status from “Member” to “Vice-Cecil” or possibly “Devastatingly handsome,” and my first royalty check hasn’t arrived yet. But I feel the credit in the article is a good start to the accolades that will be heaped upon me.

Thanks to TPTB (especially **Bricker** and **Gfactor** ) for keeping an open mind about already-published research.

I just noticed this. It’s good to see a little ignorance fought.
