Words can’t describe the utter contempt I have for your sort. You willingly regurgitate garbage and when called on it, complain it’s everyone else’s fault that they don’t accept your patently false citations.

You’re 100% right: it doesn’t matter _how many_. What matters is if any of them is _any damned good_.

Thank you for reinforcing my point. It’s good to see us on the same page for once. 😃

The next one you produce that shows it, rather than simply claims it (and only in your own idiosyncratic interpretation at that), will be the first.

Yes, factuality matters, out here on Earth. And it doesn’t matter how much you want a fantasy to be fact, even if **Sam** reassures you he shares the same fantasy and the same desire that it be fact, or if **Bricker** tells you the reality-based community can’t prove it isn’t fact according to some weird standards he invented on the spot.

So try it sometime. Show you’re not a lying, hate-filled little troll. If you really aren’t one, that is.

Specifically, submitting voter-registration cards in the names of nonexistent persons is not voter fraud (and especially not in situations where submitting them after collecting them is required by law). As you know.

See now, here’s the problem. The notion that ACORN was required by law to submit falsified voter forms is too bizarre to discuss. And it’s not voter fraud even if the voter names are fraudulent.

This is arguing the syllogism “If A, then not-A”.

The stuff you people put forth with an apparently straight face.

Shodan

I’ll admit to a lot of frustration last evening while picking through Google on the conviction part of this thread. There’s not much out there that’s not wingbat from one side or the other. Actual news stories were either dead links or pay-per-view.

I decided that the only thing to do was use the wingbat sites and pick through the chaff looking for any actual cites that they might have, but I just wasn’t up for it.

But, in fact, the subject on which I was googling is not made up. There have been convictions of ACORN employees for voter registration fraud.

If someone provides a good cite from a reputable source that shows that third parties must indeed submit ALL voter forms collected, EVERY SINGLE ONE, even if they suspect they may not be correct…

Will that make the notion less bizarre?

It is a fact. That is, ACORN’s field employees were neither obliged nor allowed to falsify anything; but ACORN was obliged to turn over to the elections office all the cards it collected, and leave it to the elections office decide on their legitimacy. That is the law. If it were not, then Democrats running a voter-registration drive would be free to turn in the cards of all those who registered Dem and discard the rest. You see?

It is not voter fraud unless and until fraudulent **votes** are **cast.** Which never happens in America nowadays, despite Pubs’ desperate struggles to find instances. We’ve been over this many times in GD.

I was curious myself to find one of those. Found one for the state of Florida, at least, which appears to state just that very thing:

In the event **Shodan** or others may be averse to a cite from such a suspect, lefty site, here’s the link to the actual Florida statue cited:

> **[Statutes & Constitution
      :View Statutes
    :-\>2008-\>Ch0097-\>Section...](https://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&Search_String=&URL=Ch0097%2FSEC0575.HTM&Title=-%3E2008-%3ECh0097-%3ESection%200575#0097.0575)**

The problem, I suspect, is that **Shodan** may be requesting a cite wherein State law demands that ACORN, in its capacity as an organization, knowingly _generate_ its own fraudulent voter registrations. To my knowledge it does not, and that notion would, I agree, be quite bizarre.

I was going to say that only a complete moron, a brainless wonder, could possibly parse the statement that way, but then I looked at the party in question…

So **Shodan** … Do you accept now that ACORN, in common with any third party that collects voter registrations, is REQUIRED to turn in all registrations collected, even if they suspect they may be fraudulent? That it is not up to ACORN to determine the true nature of the registrations collected, but rather independent officials?

One step further: if you know, for a fact, that the registration is fraudulent…if your Mom registers as Mickey Mouse before your wondering eyes…you still have to turn it in!

In fact, if you don’t, that is voter registration fraud!

This is just surreal. This is like someone stuffing a ballot box with a bunch of faked forms, and then claiming they didn’t do anything wrong because the law saws they have to turn in all the ballots.

So what if they turned in all the forms they received? That isn’t the law they broke. They forged the names on the forms. That’s the fraud we are talking about.

The fact that they obeyed one law has nothing whatever to do with the fact that they broke other laws. The assertion that they did, or that they didn’t commit any kind of fraud because there is one kind they didn’t commit, is idiotic.

They committed voter fraud. No one, as far as I know, has ever accused ACORN of the crime of not turning in all of their ballot forms. But they have been accused, confessed to, and been convicted of, voter fraud.

The knots you fuckheads tie yourselves into trying to avoid the obvious.

Shodan
