# Brilliant little ideas

After a long day on the water, I was driving home with two kayaks in cradles on top of my car, when I realized all the tie-down straps were sitting on my passenger seat.:eek:

I gradually slowed down and pulled off onto the shoulder.

Since then I always pile my straps onto the driver’s seat when I’m kayaking.
