# Bring back the mouseover preview!

Jealous. I really miss mouseover, and it only works on my mac, not on either of the Win10 devices I use. Presumably because the Mac doesn’t have a touch screen.

Given the prevalence of touch-screen enabled PCs these days, I believe this is a bug, and I hope the developers will fix it. They messed up in testing for “touch screen”, not realizing that would cease to be a good way to distinguish between tablets/phones on one hand, and devices with a keyboard and non-screen pointing device on the other hand.

I’m sad they decided not to go with the “secret user option” method, as I’d be perfectly happy with that one. I suppose there’s some small chance it would be confusing on my phone, but I bet I could handle it.

Well, I rebooted last night, and today I have no mouseovers. I give up trying to figure out what’s going on.

And it stopped for me today. No reboot, browser clearing, etc.

Working fine for me IF I disable touch before starting SDMB. I can re enable it after starting and the preview continues to work.  
This on a Surface Pro, Win 10 (fully up to date) using Chrome or the new EDGE.

Note it only works fully in the SDMB themes.
