There seem to be a fair number of Brisbane dopers around now. That means it’s time for the first Brisbane Dopefest! Details to be worked out when we can find out how many people are up for it. Already signed up are myself, Burnt Sugar and Go You Big Red Fire Engine. Who else is up for it? ---

Well, with 4 people at the last one and 5 people so far this can be the first **big** Brisbane dopefest! 🙂 Possibly 6, actually, I’m not sure if Cicero’s signed up too. We’ll leave the lines open for a few more days to see if anyone else wants to come and then work out the where, and when. ---

This will be the third Brisbane dopefest. About 3 years ago **dpr** and a couple of people who also no longer post and whose names I don’t remember organised one. I didn’t make it there. It was very small. So we need dates, times, places… ---

Big Red Fire Engine, I am nothing if not chivalrous. 😛 A dopefest is- well a piss up. I can go depending on dates and times of course. My preference (if anyone cares) would be inner city; possibly after work? (I’m assuming some of you bludgers work 😛 ) ---

I am not strongly opinionated as to where or when. I don’t work in paid employment so any time suits me as long as I can lump Mr P with the children. If I can be arsed to organise a respite worker, I might bring Mr P but chances are I won’t get organised to do that and maude knows he won’t.
