Rules: No swapping glasses with dentures in them. All Uni students must immediately respect old fogies (Hey- it’s my one chance) Somene else has to mix the Horlicks with the warm milk so I can nap after 7 pm. ---

\*\*Brisbane Dopefest Saturday, October 30th 7 PM, Ahmet’s Turkish Restaurant\* (come hungry!)\*\* \*Shop 10, 164 Little Stanley St, Southbank Pretty sure that’s the right one, there’s two of them. I’ll double check but they’re both in Southbank and the date and time are pretty much locked in now unless it needs to be a little later. ---

I found $59 Virgin Blue tickets both ways. I am in to Brisbane at 4:25 on the Saturday and leave on Monday. I’ll book a room in a couple of weeks when standbys are available. See you soon. ---

Tough life. The restaurant we’ve been to is in West End, anyway. It’s probably better than Southbank from the parking point of view. And I remember it had quite a nice ambience. But south bank would be a lot better from a public transport perspective. ---

Can’t come, sorry. I have a friend visiting from Honkers and that’s the only night she’s here. Ah Met is not bad, very much the big table/birthday type place. Food and service can be slow. Very popular. I’d say that it has slightly better food than… …Caravanserai which is probably the Turkish place in West End you were thinking of, BS. They are pretty comparable in all other respects. On a Sat. night they both have belly dancers, which I detest. Ho, ho, let’s embarrass the white guy by making him dance. What a jolly jape 😉 If you do arrange to do Caravanserai, I may stick my head in for a few moments. I live a couple of hundred yards away. ---

Caravanserai works OK for me – I didn’t think about parking at Southbank because I never do think about parking. ---
