How funny- this is exactly my thought upon reading the thread title. That episode where she went to Alaska might actually be my favorite D List episode ever. I was doubled over laughing the entire time because of how Levi played along. ---

What do you mean “How will Mama react?” I’d wager a ton that this is all planned by her. Nothing like a united family front to set the stage for a 2012 run. ---

Of course if Kathy does come to the wedding I’m sure she’d be willing to pay for it in exchange for film rights… and Og knows the stunts she’d have in store. ---

Palin’s official statement is: _“Bristol at 19 is now a young adult. We obviously want what’s best for our children. Bristol believes in redemption and forgiveness to a degree most of us struggle to put in practice in our daily lives.”_ To me, that reads as though she is livid. ---

Perhaps another grandchild is on the way? That would explain the engagement. I’d suggest Bristol and Levi need to move far far away from momma Palin. Live their own lives. Stay away from the press. Let momma Palin do the politics and personal appearance crap. ---

Sarah Palin’s grandbaby is a beautiful little boy and Bristol is really pretty. Actually, they look like a nice, (too) young couple. Palin’s family has got money. Send them both to college, or at least Bristol. Sarah I am sure can get the boy a job doing something to make a decent living. The family can take care of the little guy. No big deal, really. What does Sarah make for an hour speech, $50K, $100K? The problem with very young relationships and babies from teenage unions is a lack of money and lack of family support, which is not the case here. The question is, can the couple stay together? Usually teen marriages do not last. The kids are too young and horny and wish they would of had a sampling of various people before settling down. That’s my opinion. ---

Levi’s a publicity whore. He first tried to get a career with modeling and did some risque stuff. OK that didn’t go over too well. Sure he’s nice looking but there are a lot more nice looking guys. So Levi isn’t going anywhere as a model. So he starts criticising Palin. So a teen ager doesn’t like her politics. Big deal, no one wants to hear what he says even if he’s right. It sounds like he was less convinced it was true and was simply telling people what they wanted to hear. That is what the wanted to hear to get him publicity and possibly money. OK that dried up. So now what? A young kid with no real money and a child to support. He goes back to the girlfriend to get married and live on the in-laws. Or failing that at least using Mama Palin to get a decent job for him. He knows where his bread is buttered.
