Bristol Ren Faire in Kenosha Wisconsin opens June 29 and runs weekends through August 25. This will be the happiest summer of my life (I have season passes!!) So who wants to meet there? ---

You should have mentioned it before you got passes. There are three dopers (that I know of) working there this year, any of whom can get people in free. If anyone else is interested, email me your name, the date you’re going, and how many guests you’re bringing, and I’ll take it from there. ---

Anyone else who wants to impose, feel free. One of the perks of doing security is getting to wave people in, we just need a little advance notice. It’s not like we have to fill out a bunch of forms or anything, just mention it to the big boss guy, so he knows you’re legit if we’re not in radio contact when you show up. ---

Hmm, I _may_ be heading up on July 6th: unfortunately I’ve got too many variables to solve before I know for sure that I’ll be there. (Coordinating: can I get the 5th off, can Mom get the 5th off, can Dad get the 5th off, and can we all head up and pick up my Aunt so all four of us can show up at the faire. Heck, we usually go up to Bristol at least once every summer. I’ll drop you a line if and when we decide to go this year. (Time’s tight this summer, because my family is planning a wedding for September, so we might have to skip it this year.) ---

Bringing this thread bback to the top: It’s confirmed, unless something goes wonky, I’ll be at the Faire on July 6th. Anyone else going to be in the area then? And **typo mna** , is the offer for getting in still valid? (I’m willing to bring up tacky tourist stuff from Memphis in exchange!) ---

Peabody Hotel: Home of the ducks that have their own penthouse, come down the elevator, then play in the fountain all day, before heading back up to their penthouse. 🙂 Aahhh, BBQ sauce. Lots of that around… any prefernces for kind of sauce? Tomatoey? Vingerary? Spicy? Sweet? ---

**Nymmy** – where you working? I was there Saturday, and while I wasn’t specifically looking for you, I think I would have recognized you had I run into you. I’ll be at Faire as often as I can manage this summer - anyone who wants to meet can usually catch me at one or all the Minstrels of Mayhem shows. Look for a vaguely Asian-looking woman with short, dark red hair. Or if someone’s coordinating, you can add me to the email list. Slightly o/t but not: I bought two season passes, one for me and one for my daughter. But she’s only 12, and it made no sense to pay $75 for the adult pass when it’s only 7.50 for her to get in, so I decided to just buy her tickets in and let the hubby or whoever use the adult pass. THEN I find out one needs to show ID to use a season pass. I feel like an idiot - I thought I could use the second pass for whoever. **Typo mna** or someone… is there any way I can get an unsanctioned person in on a season pass without ID? ---

**Nightsong** : no allergies that I’m aware of **LifeOnWry** : I believe Nymysys was stationed behind scenes for a few hours on Saturday, perhaps that’s why you couldn’t find her. Regarding season passes without ID, I have no idea. That’s a box office matter, and I don’t know what their policies are. I imagine you could just trade it in for a pass with her name, though, perhaps for a small fee. I don’t remember who asked about belly dancers, but I haven’t seen any this year, at the gypsy show or anywhere else. Sorry. ---
