1. Damn coding. Anyway, people were talking about you there. Doesn’t that count as gossip? 2. No, I just meant to reassure you that you’re a lovely (as far as I can tell) and good looking (as far as I can see) girl, but couldn’t be bothered to type it out again… 🙂 {{{Angua}}} Yeah, school sucks. But it’s ok now? For instance, I was fat and uglyish at school, and still am, but now people seem to like me anyway, so I don’t care 😃 ---

I’m glad at least someone thinks that. But… but… You’re a Trinity mathmo!!! 😉 > [@](#): > > \*\* What on earth does “multiple intelligence teaching approaches” mean? \*\* well, they say that the best way to learn something is to teach it, so here goes Apparantly we have 9 different types of intelligence: emotional (but that’s a very large topic) naturalistic (again a large topic) spatial/visual (learns best from pictures/diagrams etc) logical/mathematical (obvious methinks!) lingustic (likes reading, word puzzles, learning new languages) kinesthetic (movement, doing things) musical (is always humming/drumming, learns best through music) interpersonal (is outgoing, can empathise with others, a natural leader, others seek out their company) intrapersonal (is more introverted, works well on their own, thinks about self, has lots of self confidence) Now, everyone has all these intelligences, some are just stronger in some than others. My own strengths apparantly are logical/mathematical (thank goodness!), interpersonal and linguistic (in decreasing order). Now, we were being trained on how to use different activities, which utilise these different strengths (or intelligences) to teach more effectively. That is, we identify our classes “intelligences”, and then tailor our classes so that we maximse the learning potential. Its American. But I can see it working. ---

I hate to be a killjoy, but could we at least _try_ to keep this thread on track a little? I know it’s fun to hijack, but although I like you both very much, I’d rather not have to read through two pages of Cambridge/Astronomy/flirt chat to see if there’s any information regarding the actual dopefest.
