I think theyā€™re going to be useful, seeing just how hectic that week is going to be, and how little sleep Iā€™m probably going to get! There will also be white chocolate chip cookies (to prove that it can be done), milk chocolate chip cookies (to pay of **Gyrate** , and ginger cookies (to keep **Twisty and Tir`** happy). Oh, and mince pies as well šŸ˜ƒ As for timing - my train gets into Euston around 12:10, all being well. So hopefully we can be in a pub soon after that?? ---

heh, the answer will dissapoint you, sorry. When Twisty stays over I get up early in the morning to make him a cup of tea, I also make toast, and cos Iā€™m not really supposed to take food upstairs, I wrap it in kitchen roll and hide it in my pocketsā€¦ šŸ˜‰ ---

not supposed to take food upstairs? where do you live, a halfway house or something? freedom of choice is important my mate, and should include the option to eat wherever you like, especially in your own abode. ---

We all lead very rich, interesting and fulfilled lives, you know. Itā€™s a wonder any of us make the time to post here or come to Dopefests at all. If thereā€™s a good enough clump of Friday eveningers, we might do a sort of ā€˜warm upā€™ mini-Dopefest, sans Anguacookies ā„¢ and mine pies, sans quiz, but reduced to the core essentials of a pub and beer. Just a thought. The pubs tend to thin out a bit once the office crowd have enjoyed their Friday evening P.O.E.T.S. pints and gone home. ---

what pubs do you go to where they ā€˜thin outā€™ on a friday night? I go to the west end more or less every friday night and they get busier and busier IME. and what does P.O.E.T.S. pints stand for? ---

P.O.E.T.S. stands for Piss Off Early Tomorrowā€™s Saturday. Hence Friday is knows as ā€œP.O.E.T.S Dayā€ And you shall indeed be sans AnguaCookiesā„¢ on the Friday night since I shall be slaving over a hot oven baking AnguaCookies and mine pies. šŸ˜ƒ ---
