Any newcomers to this thread, all the details are on the previous page, see my post, bright red headings etc. While planning our musical extravaganza, it may be as well to remember that One Who Shall Be Among Us is a talented musician and has performed on a actual music CD. We are not worthy, but step forward **Mr Twist Of Fate**. I play guitar moderately badly and I was even the vocalist on a novelty Christmas single produced by a friend of mine three years ago. I think it scored two plays on two different local radio stations, and to the best of my knowledge no-one ever actually bought it, but theoretically they could have done. (I have ONE CD single version of it for sale if anyone wants to bid now). I won’t be bringing my guitar to the Dopefest. She’s far too beautiful to risk. ---

no, my one: this song, is the first one’ etc also, my ex girlfriend did a degree in the recorder. she was shit hot at it, but that didnt mean it was any good AT ALL AS AN INSTRUMENT ---

OK, let me get this straight. A few pages ago, I was told that a few quiet _a cappella_ Christmas carols were a bad idea and likely to get us kicked out of the pub, and nobody else would want to sing anyway. Now we have a full jazz combo, complete with air horn, double bass, and recorder. What gives? It’s enough to make a girl think there’s a conspiracy against her! I’l consider forgiving you if there is a jazz version of “April is in my mistress’ face,” or perhaps a particularly stirring rendition of “Weep, o mine eyes” (bonus: it rhymes with "mine pies!), complete with pantomime of the following verse, with proper Elizabethan _double entendre_ interpretation: _Alas, these your springtides, methinks, increase not, Methinks increase not. O when , O when begin you To swell so high that I may drown me in you?_ " ---

**Eva** - you should be in my office right now. Our office has a “donut” style setup - with a central open space extending from the ground floor up to the roof. That, presumably combined with a number of other of architectual quirks, gives this building _perfect_ accoustics. Currently the Official \ Choir are giving a Christmas Carol Concert downstairs and the music is just filling every floor.
