This weekend I started watching Corner Gas because I saw it mentioned earlier in this thread. It is very funny, IMHO. I couldn’t quit watching. I’m through the first two seasons already. ---

I should have picked up on that after the initial post identified it as Canadian, and I noticed that it takes place in the Saskatchewan and is made for CTV. Rob Bryden’s **Director’s Commentary** was a short-lived series where Bryden pretended to be a director of films and television shows and gave a hilarious DVD-style running commentary to clips from real shows and films. A bit MST3K but very deadpan. ---
